Well, there's 2 schools of thought:
1. Florida probably wouldn't commit as many turnovers in a second game.
2. Without those turnovers to help them out, Miami probably doesn't stick to a conservative game plan where they basically just try to escape with a win and instead attack the way they did in the 1st quarter throughout the game. In fact, the score might differential might have been even bigger if Miami would have stuck with their 1st quarter offensive plan.

Does it matter? They won the game. Someone losses early every year, this year Florida was one of those teams.

With UF having a better QB now, perhaps not. They pretty much gave that game away, but it doesn't really matter. Whats done is done.

TSH is a place where posters tell us what they had for breakfast and often times the texture of their morning dumps. Does that matter? No!

It's a discussion board!!!I do appreciate you pointing out the obvious though.

And yet you gloss over my reasoned-out response in order to complain about this one...

Excellent rebuttal, kind sir!

I was curious about Murphy in there as QB now and Easly out for season.

The thing that people forget is that if you take away one aspect of a game, you also have to factor in how that will affect the other team's response to that.

Honestly...Uf moved it with ease with an insuperior qb who cost them the game. I'd say yes.

But that means absolutely nothing. Miami won. Refs didn't help, wasn't a shocking call or play at the end, they won.

Agree with those saying it doesn't matter. If FSU could kick a few field goals or had gone for the EP kick in 1987, we'd probably have at least a share of 3 more titles.

We don't know if Florida would win. Not many people thought Florida would lose the first game. Florida could win. But every year there are teams who lost at the beginning of the year to teams they were better than at the end of the year. If you want to discuss then discuss, but we have no way of knowing who would win the game between them.
