The Department of Defense has suspended all intercollegiate athletic competitions at its three service academies as a result of the government shutdown, said Scott Strasemeier, Naval Academy associate athletic director.

Navy and Air Force have not canceled a football game scheduled for Saturday in Annapolis. But it's a possibility.

Strasemeier said the schools will tell fans whether the game will be played prior to Thursday at 12 p.m. He said any notification would be posted to http://www.NavySports.com.

Fuck this Nation, man.... I'm so over their corrupt bullshit. Funny thing is, most people believe this "shutdown" is everything but on purpose. :facepalm
