I admire the confidence you have in your team bro.
But have fun with the thread... Of course I think Alabama would beat this team as well... But not the point of the thread.

If we're going with just units:

Offense: Oregon
Defense: Florida
Special Teams: Alabama
Head Coach: David Shaw

I decided to be more in depth. Otherwise it takes 10 seconds... and is boring.

Love your Mike Davis RB pick. I think he is easily as good as Gurley, if not better.

ONLY if your team had a year to practice together. Not a year as in practice everyday but if your team went through Sping Camp then Summer then Regular Season and met that team above in the NC... I'd take your team hands :adown

While I would normally agree that Mike Davis is a great back, no way either of you truly believe he is better than TGII...

Let's break it down:

TGII -- In UGA's only loss against a top 5 team. 12 carries for 154 yards and 2 TD's. Averaging 12.8 per carry and sat the entire second half because of a thigh he injured during the off-season. In the other 3 games including TWO other top 10 teams fighting through the thigh injury he went for 296 yards on 59 carries (also sitting a second half in one of the games for turning an ankle) and 3 total touchdowns. He was having his way with both Clemson and LSU averaging 12.8 and 9.1 ypc respectively before being sidelined in both games.

Mike Davis -- In USC's only loss against a top 10 team. 16 carries for 149 yards and 1 TD. Averaging 9.3 per carry and played the whole game. Then against 3 unranked teams in UNC, Vanderbilt and UCF he amounted 359 yards on 55 carries playing all 4 quarters in every game.

Against like competition, Gurley rushed for 130 on 16 carries as a true freshman, splitting the carry load with Marshall. Mike rushed for 77 yards on 17 carries.

Gurley is a grown ass man and when he gets back to 100% and we get into the rest of the schedule, I see him lighting teams up and making a push for a seat in NYC. Mike Davis is good, but UGA passed on him for a reason. And that reason is Todd Gurley II

Who has the better QB, OL, WR, TE??

Davis or Gurley?

Yeah I think you used the same excuse about our backs were only good because of our O line but you want to play out like that isn't a difference for Davis & Gurley

Also as you pointed out, having Marshall to help him, I'm pretty sure gives him an advatage.

Davis faced 2 ranked teams. And he faced UgAs defense that you said was Better than last years UGA defense, while Gurley faced USCs defense.

And I think you might be one of the posters that like to tell the Miami fans not to bring up "injuries" when talking about Duke, so why would you mention his "thigh injury"

All ball players are hurt.

sorry 20 I want a back who CAN play all 4 quarters. Not one that plays the first half then sits on the bench and rubs his vag in the 2nd half. Girly is a bitch dude.
