Depends on if you mean best football player (manning) or best sec career (probably tebow)

McArron ain't done yet hombre

He'd have to win the heisman and break some sec passing records. No clue where he is on those.

Heisman yes, records no.

His hands are full of rings, he's thrown just what 10 interceptions so far, he'd be one of the winningest if not the winningest (not too sure what the record is) and records aren't needed.

Look at Murray. He has records yet not seen as "great" considering he can't win big games, etc...

Exactly the opposite for AJ
aj hasn't won shit... The team does. Peyton never won a national title and he is 200x the qb aj mcarron can dream of being.

:ROFL2

Sydney Rice has no business being in this thread, but if you don't say George Rogers, then you have to say Sterling Sharp. Although it is now Jadaveon Clowney.

Sounds like something a 19 year old would say...... :ROFL2 but I don't fault your youth, my 11 year old son thinks Robinson Cano is the greatest Yankee all time..... :dog

I honestly do love your passion though.

Considering South Carolina does not have much history to fall back on, it's hard to even think of any truly great South Carolina players. Saying Jadeveon is the greatest Gamecock is solid proof of that.

That's it though. A Heisman trophy. Nothing else. Kentucky and Ole Miss have more history than South Carolina for crying out loud.

I grew up loving Reggie white as a kid

But no defender was better in CFB in the modern era than Thomas in the SEC..straight up...no bullshit. He was a goddamn force and it was fucking insane what he did to offenses single handily

Best football player to ever play in the sec is Peyton manning though and that's a fact. If tebow was as good a football player as manning he's at least be a starter :dog

Patrick Peterson is not the top player in lsu history that's crazy talk man. He was a very good corner but not even remotely close to the top lsu player all time. Shit dorsey was much more impactful.
