 please link where I said that. Reggie white isn't even the best player to come out of Tennessee. If we are talking best overall career... Peyton manning. If you are talking college career it's a different story.

But Peyton is the best player to come out of any college ever so my answer is Peyton manning

Where would you rank Tee martin since he led the Vols to a Natty and he beat Fla something Peyton NEVER did...just aasking :dog

FYI, I was messing with EB, about Reggie White being the best Tennessee player. But really when you think about it it's Peyton Manning 1a and Reggie White 1b in my eyes. Both dominate, and well respected players. :yes

Tennessee has produced the best offensive and defensive players ever... This is true. But qb > de and Peyton is tops.

He'd have to win the heisman and break some sec passing records. No clue where he is on those.

You could argue that Herschel Walker had the best SEC career.

Herschel Walker
Over 5,000 yards rushing in 3 years. He would have spent 4 years in college if the USFL wasn't around. If he had not have gone pro then he would more than likely surpassed 7,000 yards rushing.

Bo Jackson
Probably one of the best athletes of all time. Rushed for over 4,000 yards in 4 years(practically 3 seasons due to missing most of one season due to bad shoulder). He finished a baseball career of batting .335, hitting 28 HRs and 70 RBIs and 19 SBs in three seasons. He missed one season because of an injury that he sustained playing football. He also qualified for NCAA nationals in track and field for his freshmen and sophomore seasons.

Heisman yes, records no.

His hands are full of rings, he's thrown just what 10 interceptions so far, he'd be one of the winningest if not the winningest (not too sure what the record is) and records aren't needed.

Look at Murray. He has records yet not seen as "great" considering he can't win big games, etc...

Exactly the opposite for AJ

not to mention that when these guys played, bowl game stats were not included in career stats....and they played fewer games in a season.
