Better late than never!

With both OC and DC gone, almost no job is safe. (Hopefully we fire S&C coach as well).

Incoming OC/DC will likely want to bring their own assistants.

You still confident in that Charleston Southern game? ahahahah

Like I said I am not so sure, I think FSU will probably win but I definitely could see them losing.

Charleston Southern is not just any FCS team. They are a 1-9 FCS team.

And we get a bye week to prepare! :rockin

Does FSU still want to join the big 10? They will find out the hard way like Nebraska and Penn state that they weren't all that just played in a chump league. ACC is even worse.

Oregon played in a chump league too. :thought

You should want FSU to join so maybe you can improve on your 0-3 record against us. :D

1 year so far, they haven't won it yet. I would guess you look back in 10 years and they won't be doing too hot.

Everyone always likes to look at stupid records like that just look at 97, that was probably Ohio State's worst year in like a 5-6 year period it was a rebuilding year and this was probably FSUs 3rd or 4th best team of all time.

Just like people point at Ohio State's SEC record when like half the losses were vs national champions, how would typical SEC teams do against those teams, I remember I added it up at one point and it was like a 90 something winning percentage vs the SEC that the teams OSU lost to had and it was something like 6 national champions.

Fact is if Ohio State played FSU every year the last 50 years they would probably be like 38-12 or something. Since 2000 we probably would have lost like 3-4 games at most, even 2013 if we played FSU early in the season I am probably taking Ohio State the rest of the years other than 2000-2001 and 2011 Ohio State would have been favored some years probably by 20 points.

LOL

You’re such a homer.

Wed have at least 14 wins and they’d be consecutive from 1987 to 2000. But realistically, we’d probably beat the shit out of all your 80’s teams too.

Are you insane? I do think FSU would have won a fair amount in the 90s but Ohio State 93,95,96,98 teams were damn good. I am confident 96 and 98 win for sure.

The rest of the time Ohio state whips FSU pretty much every year, last year maybe FSU had a chance, 14 a chance early in the season, 13 probably FSU 60-40 chance, 2002 to 2010 OSU whips them every year. 2015-2022 OSU whips them every year.

Considering OSU's 9-4 record in '94 and 6-6 record in '99, this certainly was not OSU's worst year in a 5-6 year period.

Ohio St was #4 going into their road game against #1 Michigan.
This was one of Michigan's best teams of all time.
Michigan beat Ohio St by 6.
FSU beat Ohio St by 17.

If OSU beats Michigan and faces Washington St in their bowl, they finish #2.

1 TD away from tied for your 2nd best year in a 30 year span.

If they beat FSU, it would have been OSU's 3rd highest postseason ranking since 1980, even with the losses to PSU and Michigan.

But :happyno , you got stomped.

That game was closer than the score, I remember the refs making up some bullshit when they did a fake field goal like it wasn't allowed to fake it, that definitely was a rebuilding year and to compare playing Michigan to FSU in a bowl game is kind of dumb.

Michigan or OSU can have a bad record and still win or make it a game more often than not just like 2013, 2005 etc.

That was definitely a rebuilding year sandwiched between 2 teams that should have won the NC and likely would have if not for the Bowl crap system

:crazy

FSU would have easily won the 1998 NCG if we didn't have to play our 3rd string QB in the NCG. Ohio St lost to 6-6 Michigan St that year. :dog

FSU would have won the NCG (Mulligan Bowl) in 1996 as well, but our entire team got food poisoning somehow... :thought

Honestly FSU and Florida are comparable to like a Wisconsin or Michigan State but with a couple of flare up seasons where they got lucky and won the NC. Those 2 had teams just about as good but elite in years when there were a bunch of elite teams and got hosed by the system cause of the name.

Hell Wisconsin has been better than FSU other than 2013 the last 20 years.

So Wisconsin was better than an undefeated FSU last year?

That’s from your vantage point. This is from my vantage point.

We beat the shit out of Wisconsin in 2008.

FSU by themselves has more NC in the modern era of football than OSU, Wisconsin and Michigan State combined.

Florida by themselves has more NC in the modern era of football than OSU, Wisconsin and Michigan State combined.

Now tell us how good you were and how close you were all those years you couldn’t beat better teams because they were elite.

I guess winning records are more important than nattys at those 3 power houses you refer to.

Please don’t bring up the leather helmet years. I wasn’t around then.

FSU Versus the current Big 10

40-1-7 all time.

Indiana: 1-0

Nebraska: 6-2
Ohio State: 3-0
Oregon: 0-1
Penn State: 1-1-1

The B1G is easier than the ACC and with better names.

Remind me which team beat the might 2014 Ohio State Buckeyes in Ohio? Oh, right: a terrible 7-6 Virginia Tech team... by double digits. :biglol
FSU was 8-5 in 2005, won the ACCCG over a highly-ranked VT team, and took the #3 Penn State Nittany Lions to 3OT, the same Penn State team that beat #4 Ohio State.
