Where is the flaw in saying that you don't believe in a god? Because that's what atheism is. Theism is the belief in a god, atheism is the lack of that belief.

But if you are speaking of religious beliefs then you can't tell them they're wrong.

As they are BELIEFS as are yours and mine or non beliefs.


However you believe you are right and they believe they are right.

So as long as you don't tell people they are wrong about their beliefs then is call you an agnostic.


An even if someone is rudeish or prude or whatever about pro religion with me i will be honest but not rude back about why I don't believe. One of those reasons would be "people like them" however i would end my conversation before telling them they are wrong. I would say one of us is wrong and i hopes it's me and maybe ill figure it out before it's over.
