is nash still playing? seriously?

Kobe deserves to go somewhere else for the last few years of his career or he needs to just retire because he won't be able to make this a playoff team unless there is a lot more production from guys like young and randle.

yeah but does he think they can win? Whats the point if you aren't competing for titles especially at that point in your career.

yea, that is the question most older athletes ask themselves at the end of their career, kobe has 5 rings, but i promise you he wants 6.

i dont see the lakers adding anyone significant in 2015 either, so chances are kobe will retire, or maybe play elsewhere

because i do NOT see him playing for another shitty lakers team after this year

He wants to win but I don't think he'll leave LA for it. Only thing that would've cause him to leave is if LA (office) treated him badly or tried to fuck him over.

I think they will be better then last year because Randle will be able to be a defensive and rebound presence early on and he passes well from the post to find their shooters. Lin is LA trying to get their name in the paper and is low risk because his contract can be done with next year. Kobe if healthy will help them out because he is still one of the best in the game without question. Doubt they make the playoffs, but they won't be the worst team in the west. I'll go 38 wins.

yea i agree with this post, they may slip in at the 8th seed if kobe plays out of his mind good, but that is a long shot

Agreed. He isn't like Lebron, he isn't a guy who makes his team World's better if the players around him suck(neither did Jordan). He is a better single player than Lebron but not a better team player(Lebron is more like Magic Johnson than anyone easily). If Lebron joined the Lakers they'd make the playoffs because he could create more for the weak players if that makes sense. Kobe is a guy who you stick on a team with multiple great players they become unbeatable. Lebron is the guy you build a team with.

oh really, so lebron makes his team better right?

then why is it lebron and TWO OTHER MAX CONTRACT PLAYERS

couldnt beat a bunch of D-league scrubs and international players that individually couldnt even start for the heat ?

the idea that lebron makes his teams better is a joke, in the end its all about him

bosh dissapeared and wade withered up and died

so how exactly did lebron make them better, they were just slightly better than the celtics big three combination of peirce garnett and allen, only those three had an excuse for only winning 1

they were already old

lebrons "dream team" only won two and should have easily beat the mavs or spurs who combined have a total of two hall of fame players

so before you choke on leOpt's semen, please remove your head from the sand and realize that you are listening to what the media says, instead of observing the truth

I'm guessing it depends on WHICH stars it is.

Kobe? Hell no.
Shaq? Yea
It depends on which star youre talking about, and how that star plays, their mindset and what kind of role they want to play or are told to play
