To answer your OP. I also don’t take the Canada/Greenland stuff serious as it will never happen. Just like those losing their minds over the 3rd term thing. Will never happen.

As for Elon, libs are going off the deep end over a guy cutting out ridiculous government spending that should never have been approved in the first place.

Nobody remembers Cliinton slashing the military or Obama slashing NASA and the Space Program as two small examples. At this point, Trump could cure CANCER and libs would fight it and probably riot.

The only people who should hate Elon is anyone who literally lost a job because of DOGE.

And I don’t know enough about the tariffs long term or short term affect, but it seems the tariffs the US is charged are higher than the tariffs we are charging. Why is that?

Perhaps people will start buying American manufactured goods instead of the sure to increase priced goods being imported. If this happens, it will surely help keep American workers employed.

Besides, like everything else, it is probably the smack in the mouth most of these countries need to come back to the tariff bargaining table with seriousness.

Hyundai just announced a 5.8 billion new plant in Louisiana. Amazon just announced 100 billion investment into upgrading its infrastructure- even if its AI heavy.

Whatever the result, It’s too soon for me to worry.
