Just had my first doctor visit in 2 years.

Pretty fucking amazing for me, right?

My rib started hurting last week and I had a knot on one of my right ribs. Still been working and doing shit around the house, it was a pain but not ever really TOO painful. Skip to last night when I was coughing. One cough, a loud pop, and it felt like I got stabbed in my chest.


Went to Urgent Care today. No broken ribs but I tore my fucking cartilage.

Damn. It seems like those soft-tissue injuries can be the most painful. Hope you feel better soon.

I bruised cartilage between the ribs (so they say) and had to sleep in a recliner for a week. That shit was painful

Thank you and so am I. Feels so much better being mostly healthy. Still have my constancy back and leg pain but not too much other ailments, but I’m happy with life.

Sounds like yours ended up being worse than mine. I’m sleeping in my bed and on all positions. That first night it hurt pretty badly but now it’s only hurting if I try to lift semi heavy things, and doing “sit ups” like trying to sit up out of bed.

Mine was from putting my drunk roommate in a headlock and holding him still until he calmed the fuck down but strained the fuck out of my right side I believe. A LONG time ago
