MI allows people to bring guns inside the state capitol. No signs allowed though. :dunno :crazy I'm no lawyer, but charging someone with a felony for doing what your state deems legal seems like a tough sell.

Is this terrorism?

Yet another case of states having stupid laws. The only thing I can think of is allowing security to have them, but why would they let freaking plebs have weapons there?

Probably, although a baton is not nearly as scary as an assault rifle that can mow people down at a distance. If they're police (doubt it), no, and they probably wouldn't be standing in the middle of traffic like that.

I agree with you on the first part. The picture is of two armed Black Panthers outside of a polling place in 2008. IIRC, they were convicted but never sentenced (Eric Holder).

More terrorism from the BPP?

Ironically showing support for anti-2A Michael Strahan look-alike Stacey Abrams:

Surely those men were shot. Right?

I mean according to what I’m told, any black man that has anything resembling a gun will be shot dead in the streets, in their back, while their hands are up.

That's in Georgia, 30+% black population, even higher in many areas and quite possibly where that picture was taken. They're used to black dudes with guns there. :lolthumb

If they're showing up with assault rifles plainly visible to anything but a gun show or a museum exhibit filled with gunpowder arms, I'd argue that it fits the definition of terrorism.

Do you guys think I support the Black Panthers? They're pretty damn hateful and violent. They'd freak me out even if they were holding Bob Dole signs.

This is not terrorism. They're just posing for a picture somewhere. Who cares?

The Michigan capitol crashers and BPP poll "guards" were much worse.

I'm pro-2A and all, but a certain level of civility is expected at certain times/places. If we're just going to allow anything, I'm rolling into court in a Sherman tank next time I get a traffic ticket. :rockin
