Any of y’all think we should raise the voting age?

I think it should be 21 and I think we shouldn’t have anybody under 21 being sent to fight in wars.

If its 18 require an aptitude test if they do not know communism from facism and cannot pass a small history test that diacusses such extremes dont let them vote

But if you raise voting age they are gonna have to raise military enlistment age and tobbacco and alcohol too

You could enlist in the military but those jobs wouldn’t be in combat.

Other than that raising the age on it all seems like a good idea to me.

Do you feel tobbacco and alcohol ages would hold constant ?
I agree with 21 so long they cant go military because its unfair to expect someone to not be able to vote who is serving the country

Overall 18 yo is still a kid mentally in our day and time

Good point about the voting but it would be “ordinary” jobs for the ones under 21, though I wouldn’t be against making it 21. It’s just if we do that then that takes away a lot of job opportunities for a lot of young people.

I think the alcohol and tobacco will hold at 21.
