Clickbait. Smollett took a plea deal: forfeit $10,000 bond to Chicago and community service. He still got off really easy and CPD and Chicago's mayor are pissed that they didn't use taxpayer money to take it to trial. 16 counts for a false police report and conspiracy was ridiculous, too.
