Yeah, he liked it. He's a pretty big football fan and follows a lot of players from high school to NFL. Last time I saw him we saw a high school game in Georgia.
At home, it's pretty nice. Very short commercial breaks, so short they don't even really break to them, just have like a 15-30 second ad to the right while the game feed still shows on the left. One of the weirdest rules is that they only let you send 5 players on blitzes. That and "onside kicks" are actually run as 4th and 12 from your own 28. The other cool thing is on TV they show you the replay official making their decision, so you see what's going to happen before they announce it to the crowd.
Chris Simms and Garrett Gilbert were the QBs for Atlanta and Orlando, respectively. 2 old Texas QBs. Ryan Green and Marvin Bracy from FSU were on the Apollos. Lots of familiar faces like Mike Martz, Mike Singletary, Steve Spurrier, etc.
It's a league for people who enjoy football. It's also on CBS which makes it accessible.
