I’ve been reading but I just like to make sure who is who.

Is Trump supporting the correct players in Venezula?
Are we setting up the make the right moves or is this looking to be even a worse situation for a long time?

If you Can provide a source that you trust I’ll gladly read it and save you from typing. Appreciate it

Well, on one side you have Maduro, the people currently in power in Venezuela, Russia, China, and Turkey. On the other side you have most of the Venezuelan people... and the rest of the world.

Maduro is also accusing the US of staging a coup, which would be nothing new for us. If true, I don't agree with it. Let Venezuela deal with their own problems. It's also pretty common for embattled leaders to point fingers at foreign countries in an attempt to bring people within the country over to their side.

It is also my understanding that because Venezuelan congress and courts were apposed to Maduro, he declared both invalid and created a new congress and installed new judges that were all his cronies. Also a lot of talk that his re-election this year was rigged. Many inside and outside of Venezuela have called for a "redo" election, but Maduro has refused, causing many countries to recognize Juan Guaidó as the interim president.

I don't know anything about Juan Guaidó or his politics, but moving away from socialism certainly wouldn't hurt. While also socialist, Venezuela was in much better shape under Hugo Chávez (corrupt as fuck, but at least the people had food and medicine). The US doesn't exactly have a stellar track record when it comes to replacing regimes.

Most of the articles I've read are pretty bland.

The problems started under chavez. He was the one that turned everything into government rule and after the fall of the barrel from like $1000 to $50 all of the debt couldn't be paid. So, like any good socialist, they start taking the money from the people. All of the properties, businesses etc etc

Same story over and over. Then you get the ill-educated Americans that never leave their cocoons and least of all have never ventured to find out what Chavez did and what Maduro continued by speaking to dissidents from those places.

Some 7 years ago they had the #sosvenezuela shit happening all over miami. Obummer and the left didn't need to politicize it because it would highlight their agenda here in the negative light it deserves. So, you'll notice that now they claim it to be bad and all trumps fault like the previous 10 years of this never existed.

They won't be happy until totalitarianism is our new normal.
