Firstly, my first post always said having sensors. Both noise and vibration.

Secondly, i said to build a footing. That's reinforced concrete. I gave a minimum depth there too. That subverts the tunneling for the most part.

Third, i have already commented on how the false positives are removed from the equation.

Fourth, i am trying to eliminate bloat. I don't believe in taxation. Having border patrol is unnecessary and their costs are astronomical and that money belongs to the people that earn it. So, this harkens back to a point i already made about maintenance.

Lastly, since you obviously never read anything i wrote based on your previous post, cameras don't stop anyone. You jave admitted as such. So, adding them to a wall does nothing but increase costs for the long run and do not eliminate the need for border security.

Who cares if people are approaching the wall. They can paint it. Piss on in. Slap it. Be angry at it. Etc. It's their getting over the border that matters.

If you want to use laser technology to show gaps in the wall or a type of montioring for someone having scaled? I can dig that as long term maintenance issues are minor and costs to the citizens are minimized.

It's like I told you in my original post that ignited this conversation. Cutting down on maintenance and costs should be the priority. Cameras having to be replaced, aligned, etc etc and all the silly stuff that is involved with them arent conducive and what they provide doesn't make up for their costs

And like I mentioned previously, a solid reinforced concrete footing a minimum of 15’ below grade would be near impossible to dig under.

Add to that, the Monitoring sensors for vibration and noise at that point? And voila....

Funny that these democrats care about federal workers not getting paid while just a few years ago they were telling coal and manufacturing workers that their jobs aren’t coming back.

Well, what does a president do when Congress has too many people from the "Party of No Resist" to move forward with legislation?

Trump can simply follow the precedent set by his predecessor:
“We’re not just going to be waiting for legislation in order to make sure that we’re providing Americans the kind of help they need. I’ve got a pen and I’ve got a phone." 

Or he can be a pussy.

Yeah, it's kinda like declaring victory because the game went to overtime. :crazy

But dems aren't going to give Trump shit. He could propose a bill with universal healthcare, open borders, massive tax increases, and a minimum wage of $30/hr. >95% of dems would vote against it.
