Well, well … another (zzzz) PARTIAL government shutdown. Earlier this week while listing the five biggest shutdown myths, Townhall’s Chris Talgo pointed out the following: a) There are about 2M non-military fed employees & b) Shutdowns affect only about 350K of the ”non-essential” workers, whose possible furlough “often ends up being more like a paid vacation.” Not too shabby considering the vast majority or these 350K probably voted for the presidential candidate who in 2015 said this: “Well, look I voted numerous times when I was a Senator to spend money to build a barrier to try to prevent illegal immigrants from coming in and I do think you have to control your borders." Yep, that was Hillary Clinton and we could provide similar quotes from O and Schumer as well. So spare us corrupt media on how Ebenezer Trump has ruined Christmas for those “poor” federal workers. We all know it’s not about the measly $5B, it’s about Schumer and his Dems again putting their hatred for Trump above EVERYTHING ELSE.

They all get back pay so only idiots worry about this. It is a paid vacation.

They got paid on 12/22 and by the time this is over their next check will probably be there. If not, they will get back pay.

The whole thing is stupid!!

Agreed. A black police officer was just killed by an illegal and BLM says nothing. Sad.

I haven't heard a peep out of BLM in a while. I imagine they will remain in hibernation until 2020.

The fact that anyone thinks we should be paying federal taxes is problem #1.

Follow that up with people that want to eliminate the electoral college.

Then with the idea of taxing people at 70% of take home.

If you believe in any of those 3 ideas? Please, go somewhere else. Venezuela, Cuba, China, Etc are all happily awaiting your arrival.

Well, you basically have half of America (and 90% of media) telling people that rich, white supremacist CEOs are all in the KKK and are going to go all holocaust on every black, latino, female, gay, trans, union, or poor person.

Factor in how stupid the average person is, and there you go.

A lot of people live in a bubble and dont see whats going on in the real world. I was just at Boston Waler in edgwwater FL. You should see what Trumps tax cuts are doing for this place. They'll be adding 1400 jobs after they build their new updated facilities and remodeled their out dated facilities. And i guarantee this wouldnt of happenend if Hillary would of won.

The tax policy.

Here is the reality of it all.

Trump hasn't done enough. Not even close.

1. He said he would drain the swamp. Instead we have neocons like Bolton back in power.
2. He hasn't put an end to the fed and fiat currency.
3. A tax break isn't enough. Taxation is illegal. Especially when it's being spent as it is.
4. In looking at #1, we still have all the alphabet agencies and various other non voted in/for persons slithering around D.C. the average salary is over $100K. That's your money. My money.

Too many people have been bred to believe the government is their religion and will solve everything for them.

Think of the stupid people chirping "Free education" and or "Free Government Healthcare" as if the Government has tangible assets and or creates a product.. they don't understand that it is coming directly out of their pockets and in perpetuity due to being a tax. There's no end game..

This is a direct result of "diversity" and the theory that academia can and should be the empowered.

Yup.

National emergency time. Plenty of funds available to build that wall. :2thumbs
