How will the American Economy handle technology?
IN the next 20-30 years, I would esitmate at least 30 percent of jobs in America will be automated.
Computers are simply better than man.
They had a computer AI play League of Legends for a week. Didn't program it to the game, just had it learn by trial and error.
A week later, it went to the World Finals. Won every match in around 2 minutes vs the best players in the World who played for years.
Cars are starting to drive themselves. Soon we won't need taxi drivers, truckers, pilots, conductors, all become extinct jobs. Then you lose tech jobs like building computers and programs because computers already do both, and better.
AI is coming quickly, and it will quickly eliminate the need for humans in the work force. How worried are you about the economy and America's middle class future because of this?
Was talking about it to my GF's brother who works for a private contractor. Brilliant computer guy. Says his job will be done in ten years because he is literally building the computers that can build better computers than he can lol
