I believe the media over hyped this. Ive seen pics posted of damage and flooding that didn't even look like florida houses but looked more like they were taken from Sandy. They wanted death and destruction and didn't get it. :down

LOL, it came straight over me too and I lost two windows. At least 50 trees down throughout the neighborhood. We had winds in excess of 100 MPH. Golf course across the street looks like a lake.

What area are you in?

I am in Brandon. I had a 20 foot or so palm tree planted in July that I tied down some and wedged 2x4s against that survived, it barely even wiggled when I went outside to look at it during the height of the storm at 1am.

Weak ass storm didn't even knock over these solar yard lights i have that i can literally touch with a finger and knock them over.

Waves were rough yesterday. Calm as a lake today, but more wind. Typical beach weather, really.

Brick & Spoon is great for breakfast. Louisiana Lagniappe was great, but pricey. Watched most of my football at the Hangout (Gulf Shores). Meh.

Nothing happen to me expect i had no phone signal. Ppl piss me off with those gas lines tho
