Racist ESPN

ESPN apologized Tuesday for a segment aired during its 28-hour fantasy football marathon in which they aired a live auction draft, where a player was sold to the highest bidder.
The segment featured a group of white people bidding on the likes of Antonio Brown and Odell Beckham, Jr., leading some to compare it to a slave auction and leading others, including Warriors star Kevin Durant, to condemn the worldwide leader.

Beckham tweeted he was "speechless" when former Giants defensive lineman Dominique Hamilton brought the so-called racist sketch to his attention.

The conditioning is officially complete. People are actually stupid enough to be offended by a MOCK DRAFT!

I'm really glad I live in my nice house here in a little town in SC. Surrounded by less stupidity. :crazy

It's truly pathetic to watch, Sell...

Even Trump is turning to the dark side and still getting pummeled in the media.

These bubbles in all media outlets are about to explode too. I grew up in the wrong era... :banghead

We somehow managed to go through the 80's and 90's with little racial tension and now this.

How quickly we forget...

LA Riots

Date: April 29 – May 4, 1992
Total number of deaths: 63
Location: Los Angeles County, California, U.S
Arrested: 12,111
Injuries: 2,383

Have you seen anything like that lately?

One violent event compared to a decade of racial volatility. violent protests, cop shootings, shitty Presidential decision. I said little (did not mean none). I almost referenced the Rodney King and Katrina things as I knew someone would bring it up.

September 12th – Jemele Hill, who co-hosts a very boring show on ESPN, went on an anti-Trump Twitter tirade yesterday. Below are three examples, but imagine if a white ESPN co-host between 2009 and 2016 had tweeted the same but with the hypothetical changes in parentheses: 1) “Donald Trump (Barack Obama) is a white (black) supremacist who has largely surrounded himself w/ other white (black) supremacists.” 2) “Trump (Obama) is the most ignorant, offensive president of my lifetime. His rise is a direct result of white (black) supremacy. Period.” & 3) “He is unqualified and unfit to be president. He is not a leader. And if he were not white (black), he never would have been elected.” The network, who recently had to fire 100 “on-air personalities” because their ratings are tanking, said today that Hill’s comments “do not represent the position of ESPN.” Not good enough ESPN, you either make Hill number 101 or be forced to fire 100 more in the near future. It’s your choice, Americans just want sports … not more of your divisive ignorance!

Most likely did, as I probably said things along the same lines.

The statement should've been said like this

"Had a white employee of ESPN had said something like this about Presidnt Obama"
