the man built your program buddy
show some dignity, your pathetic brass should be ashamed of themselves for the way they ran bobby off
there are much classier ways to handle that situation to at least make it seem like he left on his own terms or retired with dignity
:clap
way to go tarnishing the legacy of your legendary coach :2thumbs

they forced him out , and then failed to keep it behind closed doors
if they wanted him out it should have been handled differently ,
such behavior is typical of trash from trailorhassee florida

He had to go...just as once excellent CEO's can be ousted, regardless of whether they started the company from scratch or not, so can coaches. You can't sit there and allow a coach/CEO to continue to run your program/company into the ground. It isn't smart football/business.
We gave him the nudge he needed to finally bow out. It had to be done...he was being a stubborn old man. But he will be back this weekend for NC State :rock

i never said it was a bad decision
i said it was handled improperly and without class and dignity
its a shame that such a legendary run was tarnished at the end because of lack of etiquette

I agree it probably could have been handled better. But like I said Bowden was being stubborn, and selfish for that matter. It had to be done.
I know you're just trolling but it wasn't THAT bad of an exit...ESPiN and the media made it seem worse. Then made a big deal of Bowden not going to games and stuff when he said all along he would never interfere with his successor, or steal the spotlight. It would be a distraction, and an unnecessary one.
