The problem really isn't with paying fast food workers $15/hr per se. The problem is that NAFTA has undermined labor and effectively destroyed good paying jobs in the manufacturing sector, eliminating the "low skill" positions that paid a living wage to people who could provide honest manual labor. The damage done by NAFTA will be amplified and exasperated by the pasage of TTIP, so the question becomes: what do we do with these people?
