A tear isn't that bad if it didn't turn into a full blown detachment. A detachment sometimes isn't THAT bad if it hasn't affected central vision. Usually with a tear they can just blast it with a laser and no harm no foul. I think they would only want to do that though if it was also not in the central vision though.


Still she could have another tear or RD If she gets beat down hard enough... But so can anyone... And I'm not sure if that will increase her chances or not. If anything though she is more susceptible to it since she has already had a tear. She may be a high myope and they are definitely more prone to detachment
