Going for 235 today on bench

Postby ericberry14 » July 25th, 2015, 6:37 pm

Feeling kinda low energy cuz it's the weekend and I sit on my ass all morning but whatever. Hopefully after that I can make a decent attempt at 245 too

Nice...
Finally started back lifting again. It sucks after dislocating my left should multiple times. After rest and physical therapy for a few months, I slowly got back to lifting weights again. Recently started repping 225 again consistently but unfortunately not more than two sets of 10.

Yeah I won't be doing sets of 10 at 225 for years most likely lol

I struggle to do sets of 10 at 195 consistently

honestly I just need to get serious about making sure to eat enough and get enough protein and I'll be fine but I've been worried about other shit like sex and work. Oh and I've been smoking weed occasionally the past month which definitely hurts lifting and strength

Find people you know that are either stronger and religiously going to the gym. That all helps.

Unless I just absolutely can't I work out every other day but I do it at my cousins house cuz he has a decent barbell set up. I don't really lack the motivation to work out just the motivation to try to get 150-225 grams of protein a day. The shit is either impossible to eat that much or super expensive to supplement myself all the way up there

I'm definitely not getting that much but from what I've seen for gaining mass you want to get like 1 to 1 1/2 grams of protein per pound of body weight

I probably average close to 100. I really have no idea. I don't count calories or shit like that. I just try to eat something healthy ish every so often while drinking a shake after lifting and at least 1 good meal replacement shake daily
