it was a shitty fight, and certainly not worth that much money

people wonder why boxing is dead, its because of the pussy ass boxers who run away and try to hang on for a decision instead of trying to knock somenone the fuck out

tyson was compelling because he took chances, and he gave it his all

he was not a great technical boxer, but he had a ton of knockouts, hopefully we can see another boxer like that again one day, and the sport will return to its former glory

I think he ran, but he still won. I figured Mannny would've been fast and quick enough to chase him down. This would've been a much better fight if it happened 5 years ago

So a fight that lasts less than 1 round, where Tyson throws 1 to 25 punches and scores a KO is not only a good fight, but it's "amazing". :thought

absolutely, it is compelling boxing, the heavyweight division has DIED because we do not have a tyson type on the scene

the klitschko/lennox lewis version of boxing is bland and unwatchable

with all of the hype for mayweather pacqiou i just wanted to see something legendary and epic, something memorable

it was just a regular welter weight fight between two old, out of their prime fighters

Floyd made a great fighter look like an average fighter. He doesn't knock people out, that's never been his MO.

Pac let you down, he's the "knock out artist" and wasn't even interested in getting a KO and showed no power.

honestly we are all getting hyped up and disappointed over a welter weight fight mainly because THERE IS NOT HEAVY WEIGHT BOUT to get get excited about

if heavy weight boxing was still on top like it once was all of this welter weight stuff would be a side-card

i never got excited over the oscar delahoya stuff

its just not as interesting as the heavyweight division when there are great heavyweight fighters

I'd rather way Sugar Ray Leonard box than any heavyweight with exception of Kid Dynamite.

I paid to see mayweather do what he do. Make decent fighters look like amateurs.

Few things.

1. These are not heavyweight fighters. The toe to toe idea doesn't exist like that.
2. Anyone saying may weather "ran" doesn't understand boxing. He threw more punches than did paquio.
3. Seeing as #2 happened, and the fact paquio threw less punches than he ever has? He is the runner.
4. Floyd is the smartest boxer there is. Why take a beating when you can control your opponent and basically walk out of the ring looking as good as you did prior?
5. There's a reason why boxing is the "sweet science" and guys like Tyson don't usually survive that long. He was so very strong that he was allowed to be the anomaly.
6. If you want mindless and no real strategy fighting, go watch mma. Basically the same context as people thinking limbo slice could somehow make it as a fighter of any type.
