Would you abstain from sex every year for just one day a year for the same reason?
I wouldnt
They don't abstain from horse racing. It's like fucking decent chicks all year and then getting the hottest bitch on the planet 1 time. Why does football abstain from the super bowl all year?
:nuhuh
I don't know too much about it but are you telling me all of the horses in the derby have raced in races throughout the year and they all had to acquire wins or even points through finishing high atleast like NASCAR to qualify for the DERBY? And then only a select few get to go to the next one and then only 3 get to finish the last one?
If so then compare it to te Super Bowl, World Series, nba, etc... But until then :nuhuh
The new point system -- officially branded as the "Road to the Kentucky Derby" -- will feature 36 stakes races overall and include 17 marquee events for three-year-old Thoroughbreds that comprise a compact, 10-week run up to the first Saturday in May to be known as the "Kentucky Derby Championship Series."
it used to be a "graded stakes earnings system" but it has since changed to this. Either way its essentially the same thing. And as for nascar their biggest race is the 1st race. you have to qualify but still why not have the daytona 500 every weekend. its fine you don't get or like horse racing but the kentucky derby is still fucking awesome. as is the preakness as is the belmont if 1 horse wins the derby and the preakness. If the derby winner loses at the preakness the belmont sucks.
I really didn't know how they picked the horses.
Do they crown a real champion of the season? Instead if just the derby winner, Preakness winner, and Belmont?
Also I didn't think that all the same horses raced in all 3? I know some do but I thought the field changed
