However going by the ratings alone everyone agreed.

It looked to me like they had a long time plan, and was sticking with it through seasons 1 & 2. Then it looked like they changed it up maybe worried about being canceled because the show did change from the each season as in it's style. They could've ended the show with season 4 and it had been an good close. The ratings were steadily climbing after 1 2 and 3 I believe and then after 4 they started dropping and 5.

That's after they changed. People started watching after hearing about it from their friends and how good it was they watched season 3 and season 3 wasn't that great of a season compared to the first two so seasons 4 ratings dropped because people quit watching.

I didn't say the show sucked or was great because of ratings. The ratings were shitty. The show was great.

However the ratings increasingly got better and that's what kept the show going for 5 years. However the show was too realistic for its time. Too much bad news and not enough "happy endings".

What I said is the ratings showed how the seasons went and you can prove that.


The shows you just pointed out. Look at them, by their own audience, poll them and ask th to rate their best season to their worst season. Then their ratings would reflect that.

Ask wrestling fans to rate the best wrestling eras and the worst, and the ratings would reflect it.


We would say that the attitude era and Monday night wars was the best. Ratings would prove it. However the ratings in talking about doesn't mean that I'm saying wrestling is the best show ever
