No, not useless.

Just the fact a 'set up guy' can never and will never be considered the best player in their respective sport if they cannot hang with the elite goal scorers as well.

Sid can't score, not at elite levels anyway. League leaders are nearly doubling his output. He can distribute - create.

Maybe if he shot more he'd have scored more than 1 time the entire 2013-2014 post season.

Maybe if he took more shots he'd score more, and maybe they wouldn't be sitting in 3rd place while Nash & co are in 1st. :justsayin

Maybe he can't create quality scoring chances for himself, that's why he opts to dish it.

Compiling assists doesn't impress me if you can't score with the big boys.

Let's compare: Super Mario's goal scoring: 43, 48, 54, 70, 85, 45, 19 (played 26 games), 44, 69, 17 (played 22 games), 59, 60, 35 (43 games)

I don't see any seasons of 20-25 goals here with the exception of two seasons where he played 22 & 26 games.

Crosby has 25 goals in SIXTY THREE GAMES. Give me a break.
