Questions about Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul

Postby JdPat04 » February 11th, 2015, 8:40 pm

So we haven't war he breaking bad. It was on before i knew about it then every time I would try to catch a marathon it either wouldn't be on or it would've already started and I had missed the beginning.

We bought the whole series on DVD this past Black Friday but then we got Netflix so we sold the series. We are about to start watching Breaking bad.

I don't want to miss Better Call Saul. Don't want 10 or 15 episodes sitting there on my DVR either just taking up space.

Do I need to watch breaking bad before Better call Saul? Or how should I watch it?

They are independent of each other.

Saul is a character from Breaking bad that they decided to create a show around to basically show his origin.

Enjoy both at your leisure.

There will be some crossover characters from Breaking Bad to Better Call Saul. Like Tuco...

Isn't better call Saul a prequel to breaking Bad?

Either way, Breaking bad is fucking awesome. :rockin

I think it will start off a prequel but as it progresses then it will happen during the events of Breaking Bad, and finally after.

With that being said shouldn't I watch breaking bad first?

Well you saw the first post correct?

We didn't get the seasons until this past November but she bought them for me for my Christmas so we "got them" at the end of December.

However when we did the 1 month free trial of netflix we wasn't in the mood to start a 1 hour series show like that because This year we ended True Blood, Sons of Anarchy, White Collar, Boardwalk Empire, Justified (airing now is it's last season) and I also ended 2 more shows, and I also had just binge watched The Wire in like 2 weeks.

So we started watching How I met your mother and we have 2 episodes left. Would've finished last night but had a free rental from rebbox so I rented Get On Up and watched it first and then watched 7 eps of himym. Got the final 2 to watch tonight.

Then we are starting BB.

I just wanted to know if we watched BCS would it ruin any spoilers or anything that happens in BB and to me it sounds like it will. So I am just going to DVR BCS and watch it when we are done watching BB.

She also has to finish watching season 1 of Black Sails so that we can watch season 2 together. I watched s1 last year as it came on. She wanted to watch it together so I was rewatching it either her.

And then her pawpaw records shameless for is onto DVDs and sends them to us so we have to finish those. But other than that it's gonna be all BB.

Oh yeah I forgot about TWD. We didn't even watch the first one. Might just let the whole season air and then binge watch it together.
