In order to save $30 you would have to have paid over $1,000 for it.

7% sales tax on $400 is $28. Let's say you did save 2.5% as your post claims, the most you could save was $10.

well I saved 10 bucks on buying the ps4 literally 5 minutes away from where I'm staying over the state line. The game I bought was also 10 dollars cheaper. So add that with the 5.70 in tax i would have paid in memphis vs the 3.50 i ended up paying and its 22.20. I didn't take into account i did spend 3.50 on tax so my math was 25.70 and I was rounding up :dog

but yeah I saved over 20 dollars doing it. And I got gas in Mississippi while I was there for about 10 cents a gallon cheaper which was only another dollar but still... why pay more when I can pay less for the same shit. sorry dude
