Idk what the problem is. It's the update being downloaded to the comp not the actual updating. Hopefully the iPhone update goes faster but no I don't think I ever updated the iOS on the iPad but it had most of the features of iOS 7 out of the box. For whatever reason though the download is going between 150-300 kb/s instead of 1mb/s like it usually does.


I stopped using my computer and walked away though so hopefully it's going faster. I'm gonna check back in about 15 minutes.

The problem with people is they are stupid.

The new iOS is made for the newest iPad and iPhone 6. The reason people have issues with their phones is because they upgrade the new iOS not thinking that their phone isn't made to run such a extravagant operating system. If you don't have an iPhone 6, or an iPad Air, you're wasting your time.

The bank on people that upgrade their 4S to 8.0. Why? Because it will begin to run slow as fuck almost instantly and they will waltz their stupid asses to the Apple Store when they are closed on upgrading to the new device.

Yep that's why I wanted to do it on the iPad and not the phone. Honestly now everything is running fine.. Except tinder. It tells me when bitches send me messages but I just can't open it. I've never tried it but could you do a factory restore and that would remove the updates? It would remove your other shit but as long as you uploaded your pics to your computer then it should be fine :shrug

If I delete tinder I lose all my matches including the one I actually care about so I'm gonna try to wait it out.

Do not update to iOS 8!!! Wait for another update or 2 to come out. The fuck ups are worse in numbers and severity than in any other iOS update I've done. Period. Does not matter which iphone you have

You can go back. It's called downgrading. You just have to be smarter than the device you are using. The iDevices are actually intelligent. These aren't Windows phones, or Samsung's that only pump out stats to "impress" the sheep, yet lag and under perform in the end. Perhaps you should try and educate yourself on what iOS 8 will bring to the table before you upgrade on the very first day. Also, you can download any version of iOS and downgrade if you know what you're doing.
