Had his first baseball game today. He’s played basketball two years now, and started baseball this year. First pitch was a ball that he watched, and the 2nd one he hit for a base hit. Stole his ass all the way home too.

10U he just turned 10 in Feb. Its for the school he goes to right now. So not the talent of travel ball or any of that just yet. Probably going to sign him up for Fall baseball at the city Rec center this year and get him to keep with it. He probably has more of a future with baseball than basketball, and he ain’t touching football.

Very cool. He’s old enough to chose now.

I coached for 8 years including travel ball. Tons of fun.

I like helping coach but ain’t good enough/know enough to be a head coach. I love working with the kids and shit. When I’m around them I feel more in my element than when I’m with a group of adults.
