I've never donated to a politician or signed up for their mailing list or anything like that. However, we fired a guy recently and his emails now forward to me. I unsubscribed from the 100+ bullshit spam emails he received every fucking day, but the Trump/GOP ones still come through. And they are so pointless and annoying.

lolwut? What kind of workplace forwards other (former) employees direct emails like that? That feels like a massive privacy violation, even if most of it is spam.

The sysadmin should probably use a distribution list or generic email address. Even an autoreply for his old email would be better.

One that wants to respond quickly to bid requests and other customer needs promptly and not lose business. People don't always catch the auto reply.


This is the real world. Feels don't matter. Company emails are company property. Ask any lawyer.
