SInce COVID is not going away, lockdowns will delay cases/deaths, but not prevent them... unless the lockdowns are permanent or highly effective post-infection therapeutics become available (I haven't followed lately, but they seem to be getting better).

And you have to consider the cost-benefit analysis of lockdowns (psychological issues, overdoses, domestic violence, economic, education/social development of children, etc). At some point, soul-crushing, economy-destroying authoritarianism becomes worse than ~1% of your population dying of COVID.



Thoughts?

I'm a little more likely to get the vaccine... in 10-15 years, or if I become diabetic / morbidly obese. Probably around the same time I start taking the flu vaccine and other vaccines for old people.

Coronavirus has been a common cold for as long as we've been alive. Stop buying into this pseudoscience deception.

Don’t think it’s the common cold because I never lost my taste or smell from the common cold, and even though it is back, it still hasn’t returned to normal. I got it back in Aug as well. It’s definitely overblown though.

Not all coronaviruses are the same.

Lab-created coronaviruses are definitely not the same.

Which makes more sense to you?:
Pretend there's a new virus (when there isn't) to control people
Create a new virus (then overhype the fuck out of it) to control people ***can be used even if virus wasn't lab-modified***

It wasn't that bad for me, but it was definitely unlike any cold or flu I've had before.
