Just for the hell of it, we checked to see what we could sell our house for.

We expected about 30% more than we paid for our house less than 2 years ago... WHICH IS FUCKING RIDICULOUS!

Zillow offered $50,000 MORE than what we expected. :explode



My concern is... will we actually be able to BUY a house with Blackrock and other huge companies buying up all the real estate right now? :dunno

Even with perfect credit, you can't get a loan on a house for 20% more than it's worth. Maybe if you're putting 50% down or some shit, which I suppose we can afford to do now.

I moved back to Florida 3 years ago and bought at the perfect time. And it’s valued 85K more then what I bought it for. 8)

Not to mention I put in new tile floors. Just remodeled the main bathroom. I redid all the electrical plus some pimpin other shit. Fenced in the back yard. Put in a drain system in the backyard. I pump all this rain water out front to the county’s drainage system. I’m good and staying right here for a few more years. 8)

Neighbor just sold his house for 560K. House appraised at 535K

Buyers had to rearrange their mortgage to cover the 25K difference. Was putting 20% down. Ended up putting 10% down plus the 25K but now have to pay PMI.

Both new owners (husband and wife) are FSU grads. LOL.
