I just finished season 3.

It's hilarious how they were making a fuss about the justice dept would fuck Baltimore up for ignoring the drug deal BUT fucking 5 years later with Obama in office thats exactly what they started doing :biglol & :facepalm

And I'm actually glad im watching it now and not before. It's better when you know it like i do or more.

I know a little bit about all those places mentioned. First place i ever went to was upper Marlboro which is in Season 1 where Bodie is sent to for the Juveniles Boys place. When carver and Herc are driving through the county area.


Also it looked like season 3 wrapped up not knowing if they was gonna have a season 4. It could've ended there and not had too many loose ends. Do far season 4 is the worse season.

So i read the problem was that most people didn't want to come home and be upset with more bad stuff. Seeing as in the Wire it's pretty much all about the dirty shit and rarely good news.


However GoT is the same fucking thing and it's loved.


Seems to me that it started out small and was growing by word of mouth. Seasons 1 & 2 were awesome while season 3 was good.

Season 4 got the highest ratings but season 4 was the worst season. Seems they didn't expect it to happen because season 3 almost ended perfectly.

But they do kill off all your favorites except the non drug dealers. Other than that they were GoT. If they had a few cops killed in the show it would be like GoT.


Anyways a not so good season 4 followed up by a kind f sick season 5 did it for the ratings.


GoT can get away with sick shit because 1. It's several years later and tv has progressively gotten worse and society has become more accepting of the bad stuff. However GoT is a "fantasy world" while this is reflecting the real world.

game of thrones snobs always get on me when im talking about it and say back then. They are like "back when this is a fantasy world that isn't set during any specific time" and I'm like "fuck you this shit is obviously based off of 1400s england so suck it fags"

It's obviously based off of some time frame of Eurasia. Haven't had a history lesson on some time so what ages fit with GoT's weapons and shit i don't remember but yeah.
