I've recently been working on my family tree, and was able to trace 3 branches of my family tree back to England. Two of them (one on each side) back to the 1300s. On my patriarchal (just to trigger the libs) line, I'm the 14th generation born in America. The first in my direct line being born in 1615 in Virginia.
The bonus of this is that when libs try to pull the "but America is a nation of immigrants!" line to try to explain why America needs more immigration, I can proudly reply: not my ancestors! They simply moved from one part of England to another. And then later America kinda formed up around them. But they didn't immigrate anymore than a person moving from Georgia to Hawaii is immigrating.
TL, DR: :csb
